@patsajakwagon I would own you in English and German. It's funny for a kid to say or think he/she can toss some crap around, on youtube no less. Troll back as much as you want, it won't bother me none because I simply don't take you seriously.

@patsajakwagon Along with my first post:1. your sound and vibrato were quite stiff, lacked expressive, warmth and tonal flexibility needed for french flute music. 2. rhythm: why the hurry? 3. Clarity: Notes (including trills) are not well cared for. If you don't have rhythm how can your scales be expressive? 4. communication with pianist, never once did you looked up. 5. Cadeza, no contrast with rest of the piece. These are basic stuff even before I call up for lesson back in the days.

@patsajakwagon If this is all you got out from my remark then you've missed the point entirely. I didn't troll over your performance but now I will. If you think this is acceptable for a performance condition, then you are not as detailed player as you think you are. My critique was quite polite, clear and plenty constructive. Your performance quite frankly, reflected a lowered standard of teaching in new generation of players. In case you're still unclear, I'll go ahead a list the issues:

@dasteufelhund I'm sorry you feel that way but as a teenager performing something memorized for the first time in front of a crowd of people that I've already played for and know this piece like the regularity of their own bowel movements, this was probably one of my greatest accomplishments pre-college years. If you don't have constructive criticism and just want to troll over other people's accomplishments I promise you I can be just as troll back. Auf Englisch und auch auf Deutsch.

Patricia, french music has a unique organic feel in which you've missed the point if you continue to muscle through with every french piece in our repertoire. relax your sound as well as your sense of pulse. There is no need to hurry, but you do need to make sure there is clarity in your scales...this is standard rep, I would think D major scales should be down pat by now.
bravo, Patricia!
