Sen. Arlen Specter will vote NO on Card Check

www.TolbertReport.com - Speaking on the floor of the Senate today, Sen. Arlen Specter announced that he will vote against EFCA/card check bill and even more important he will vote against the closure motion thereby allowing the Republicans to prevent the measure coming up for a vote.

Lay off the leftist union propoganda. GM is having to file Chpt 11 and the union bosses still won't negotiate, lower their salaries or sell their multi-million dollar golf course.

We just passed the un-read stimulus bill to keep firemen and police jobs. The teacher's union has turned education into indoctrination. The unions won't fight against higher taxes or illegal aliens.

This is why companies are opening in the south where unions haven't taken over yet.

Unions haven't ruined the auto industry. The credit crunch, irregular gas prices, increased foriegn competition and poor marketing strategy have ruined the auto indusrty.

Unions don't control any industry anyway, they counter balance the power of executives & help workers bargin for living wages. Police, firemen, teachers, nurses, grocery workers, most radio & television announcers, truck drivers. None of these industries/professions is ruined. No disrespect to you, but lay off the slogans.

The bill would allow union thugs to look at the votes of workers when asked to form a union like in Michigan. Unions have ruined the auto industry and will ruin any industry they take control of.

Pat Toomey wouldn't have waited this long to take a stance against the Union Thug Act. Specter is just sticking his finger in the wind. We have a "moderate" Senator in Arkansas named Blanche Lincoln who does the same thing.
