The birth of the modern Yoga
movement and its impact on the world. Swami Satchidananda brought a
distinctive blend of Yoga, spiritual philosophy and interfaith ideals
from India in 1966 that he offered to the West. Applications of Yoga
in health care, conservation, education, and the arts are highlighted
with interviews from leaders in these fields that include Dr. Dean
Ornish, Dr. Mehmet Oz, Larry King, artist Peter Max, Felix Cavaliere
(The Rascals), among others. This one-hour documentary coming in May 2008 to select theaters and to DVD.

  • I worked at Integral Yoga natural foods (produce) w/ Chris McCrae in the early nineties, I live down from Yogaville by the Hatton Ferry, my buddy Guru Prim (Danny Wiseman) went to Yogaville for years and years.

    They are integral in my life alright!

  • I saw the film in SF at the Roxie Cinema.... it was a wonderful event! The video is available for sale on dvd too.... probably through Yogaville.... we have it for sale at the SF Institute

  • We had the privilege of presenting this film to a live audience and the response was AMAZING! They were visibly moved, expressing how the film-watching ITSELF was like a YOGA, a meditation! That's how vividly it brought it's viewers into the presence of this great master.....BEAUTIFUL!
