CEO of Maywa Denki, Nobumichi Tosa performs at UCLA 2010 "GADGET OK" Exhibtion at Broad Art Center.
He wanted me to take movie and upload it to Youtube and so i did... =)
The instrument that was used was "Pachimoku" an aerial wing musical instrument with two Mokugyo (wooden drums used in Buddhist rituals) at the tip of the wings. It is operated by finger snapping motion, which is sensed and transmitted to beater bars of the two wooden drums. It uses AC 100 Volts which is commonly used for home appliances in Japan.
