  • Dear Twistidd

Thanks for your comment, but in fact the ACE 150 hasnt pinpointing. Pinpointing starts with the ACE 250. But you are right on other hand that pinpointing makes the life more easy ;-)

  • That's the worst plug I've ever seen cut. You need to learn how to pinpoint and cut smaller plugs. That's ridiculous.

  • What a mess! I hope that was in your own yard and not in a park. People like you makes it hard for us responsible hobbyists who can recover items without leaving a trace!

  • As already stated, your recovery methods are a bit reckless, and will result in destroyed and dead grass of a very large size. This reflects badly on the metal detecting hobby as a whole, and will result in it being banned in more public places the more it is done. The other users know as well as you and I that pinpointing is not a feature on that machine. They were trying to teach you how to pinpoint with what you have. It is possible. X marks the spot.

  • maybe some time spent learning to pinpoint would help better!

i found a mint 1816 silver sixpence (uk)plus lots of 18 century coins and 1944/1940/1937 3 pences(thuppences)really mate learn to respect the ground and it will respect you!

  • christ i use a shovel and make a plug smaller than a slice of bread untill i get a proper digger that is then it will be even smaller!thats the size of a football or large dinner plate!!!

  • lol

  • You might want to think about buying a pin-pointer to help keep those monster-size plugs down a bit.

  • Epic fail. What are you doing? Digging your own grave.

  • LMAO, I was doing the same thing today on my first time out and all I found was a rusted shard of pop can. I was sweating like I committed a crime and decided to just head home after 1hr 1/2.

  • Holy cow that hole was bigger then your coil!!

  • Try turning the coil on its edge to pinpoint a bit better. this gives a narrower field from the coil. hope this helps. Smaller holes too!
