@atticboy028 if you plan on really building the engine all the things unique to gen3 will be replaced but if you're just trying to get to 300 with minor mods gen3 would be easier

i have a gen3 turbo as well, i just want to ask if the diff bet gen2 and gen3 engines would shrink once u tune up esp with aftermarket parts

@wowdino if you have an mr2, 3rd gen is the only way to go.

this is coming from somebody that has had BOTH engines.

is the third gen 3sgte better then the second, cause i saw some website had the second gen torquing 224 at 3200rpms and the third torquing 224 at 4000rpms

@voodooxchild dude the berk exhaust is pretty quiet lol. I have the motoria exhaust which is f***ing loud and no cats and i've never been pulled over in cali

@4DMR2t that comment was a year ago so you might have completley different rims by now but just wanted to surgest maby painting the spokes black and leaving the lip silver? just a thought tho, each and to his own right ;) ive personaly just got my standard rev2 rims on rattle canned gloss white :P
