[pc dos] Magic Carpet - Level 28 part 1/2

Magic carpet gameplay. Level 28. Hazzanjahn "The isles of Hazzanjahn are linked by magical mirrors but not all of them take you where you want."

Played this level again after completing the game. This play is about 4min faster so the level can fit in two parts.

Good job clearing out those wizards.

I see you got the strategy down to leave one part of the castle left so that the wizard comes back to rebuild and then you take him out.

Its aggravating in the later levels though when they sit on top of their castles while instantly rebuilding... you have to draw them away because they are protected that way.

The drawing away strategy works fine.

I think the best general tactic against the wizards is to tire them down while possessing their mana. It's not a good idea to try and banish a wizard who has a decent mana reserve left. If their mana is low it's easier to kill the wizard by exhausting his casting ability. I usually try to get enemy castle down to second level before trying the banish. Banishing is easiest with meteor, but lighting is a good second choice.

It's easier to finish the wizard first and then the castle in this short respawn time. I also like to cast archers to bash the castle while I'm bashing the wizard. Archers are especially great in weakening tactic. Make some archers near enemy castle and you can concentrate in collecting the mana while the archers make the damage "free of charge".

thank you for this video! please,how do you make it work so fast in HD without crash? if I try to increase the cpu cycles from dosbox (about 90.000 no HD) the game crash randomly, if I try to increase the cpu cycles to 200.000/300.000 in HD the audio is discontinuous. can you help me? thanks

This is crazy to see.....I played this game somewhere around being 4-6 years old. First game I probably ever played and vaguely remembered the title. Pretty cool to see a video of it
