The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword - Boss 4: Imprisoned - no damage, no shields

CROWNING MOMENT OF AWESOME!

The Hyphy Movement, the Uni-Mind including trolls, the San Francisco Bay Area residents who prove that it doesn't deserve to be called the "Yay Area", the shallow girls who would say "wanna suck my pee" just to mock me, and the Oakland rioters think they can bog me with garbage, but I'll beat them. And if they think I suck somehow, they should note these videos.

Here's Imprisoned, the dinosaur that has been haunting Link's dreams of late. The objective is to beat him down before he reaches the temple. I don't know what actually happens if he does, but it definitely can't be good, especially since the game plays music of urgency if he gets too close to the temple for comfort, so definitely show this Link how we do things downtown. (And yes, I'm using "Link" as a curse word. Thank TwitchTV for thinking for some dumb reason that Link's name could possibly be one.)

In order to beat Imprisoned, you have to drive the sealing spike into it repeatedly. You can do this in one of two ways: either get on top of him and down-swing on the spike, or the hard way, which I will talk about since you can guess which way I do.

The hard way is this: Imprisoned has 4 toes per foot (3 in front, 1 in back) for a total of 8, and destroying them all will make Imprisoned fall on its back, allowing you to drive the spike in with up-swings when you move to his forehead. Also, if you destroy all of the toes on one foot, Imprisoned's mobility will suffer, so try to focus on one foot if you can so that you can wreck the other one more easily as well. Of course, make sure to attack the foot that isn't in the air, so that you don't get caught off guard by a stomp. The stomps are easy to dodge on their own, but each time Imprisoned loses a toe, it will react by trying to shockwave with that same foot--of course, it's slow. However, during the third phase, EVERY step it makes comes with a shockwave, and the Imprisoned itself moves faster, so you have to be fast if you want to destroy the toes then.

This brings me to what I manage to do in this video: I destroyed ALL of the 3rd phase toes in about only 35 seconds. Don't believe me? Just watch the video. Keep in mind that I was not intending to speedrun against the toes, as you can gather from the commentary. That's right: it's actually an Crowning Moment of Awesome on my part, moreso because I wasn't even trying for it.

One thing's for sure: Imprisoned will trouble us no more. So don't worry about this being round 1 or something...

(By the way, this also doubles as a quality test of sorts.
