I was goign to throw this whole one away.. but it seems to be gettign watched quite a bit so i decided to fix it as best i could and re-upload it.

this was shot during the perseid meteor shower, but I dont think there are any meteors in it... edit.... there is one right at the end at about 16 sec geminid

hey, what lens, iso, and exposure time did you use? looks great!

canon 1ds with a 24mm f/1.4 lens iso 1600 i think and probably about 8-10 sec exposure.

i have since switched to a 1d markIII camera and shoot at iso 2500 now

i use a motorized tripod head that was originally made to drive a telescope
