After I uploaded my last video, "Flood!", the power went out when the typhoon hit us directly, and the power came back three days later.

It's a good thing I still had batteries and space in my camera to take some footage as it was happening, and the devastation afterwards. It's the strongest typhoon to hit San Pablo in many years.

It was scary for a while, but when we realized the house will hold and water won't get in, I just settled down to continue work on ELMER.

Thanks to all those who sent in messages. It really wasn't as bad as it seemed, as me and Ilyn are used to going native without electricity for long periods of time.

Nevertheless, we were glad when things got back to normal. A lot of people weren't so lucky though. At least 70 people have died and hundreds injured. Many people lost their homes. It's still pretty bad for many people.
