  • I agree the government is self centered greedy pigs with their self centered spending and they don't care cause it isn't their money they are spending. And it's no wonder everyone wants to be president cause he gets $400,000+ a year and also gets free mailing—for all nonpolitical correspondence, government paid-for office space and office staff, and allowances for travel and secret service for life on his kids until they are 16 and if his wife is widowed gets the service until she remarries

  • lower the capital gains tax (tax on stocks, pensions, 401k's all that) is how he would have gotten the money, by doing so the government has more money on hand cause when you do that, you increase the number of people willing to invest. and believe me not all wars are bad and so devastating, ww2 got us out of the great depression (not saying I'm a huge fan of this war, I think we should have just bombed them and gotten out) and imo if we want research on anything it should be privately funded

  • But, where is all this government money coming from? The government is already in debt by the trillions. Honestly... the TRILLIONS. How do you give away money that you don't have?

And he says that taxes aren't the problem, it's the spending. Seriously, as long as our technology evolves and we continue to search for cures for cancer, AIDS, and research DNA, spending is inevitable.

Can someone elaborate on this for me; even though the election's over, I'd like to be educated.

  • Yeah, that's why he has 6 homes. Tell us about the definition of rich. We know why he doesn't want the wealth spread around. He is afraid some of it will be his wealth. Just remember, George Bush Sr. ran on the "no new taxes" platform, and it was a lie back then too.
