At first she says the chickens roam around and eat grass and bugs and are free and eat natural food. Then she says you need to keep them in a cage and buy food for them?

I got a baby chick and I thought it was going to be a hen but now he's a rooster. I wanted a hen :( But I love my rooster, even though he crows and doesn't lay eggs and bites my feet. (I have a few videos of him on my channel)

A very good video. Every one with space should rise their own chickens for healthy eggs. I know it has a wonderful taste

@Angloartist Ya thats true they do! lol
Cages can be big. Or there can be a chicken run attached to the enclosed roost area. Grass and bugs are best!

Thank you for this video. I have always wanted chickens, and now that we are fencing our yard in, I'll be able to build a coop and let them roam free. Great point about the egg yolks. If you have never had a non-factory egg, that neon orange will knock you off your feet!

I am about to receive my order of fertilized chicken eggs. I hope to be able to hatch them and raise them. I enjoyed your video. You have a great camera presence, and are very well spoken. I am wondering if in fact I should have just purchased live hatched chicks instead of the incubating process. Thanks for your video. I have to add that you look great in front of a camera too.

Hello. Have you received your fertilized chicken eggs yet? I would say just go with that and learn all you can. Then down the road you can try purchasing live chicks and learn from that as well! Have fun with it. Thanks for the compliments! And let us know how you do!
