Owl City has be blazing the charts with their hit song "Fireflies," but is there something in the melody that sounds familiar?
Doc Blogstein: Music Detective thinks it sounds suspiciously like Toto's "Africa".
Hear for yourself and tell us what YOU think!
As heard on this weeks Radio Happy Hour: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/drblogstein/2009/12/02/radio-happy-hour
They both have the same chord progression and ToTo might have been inspiration for Owl City, either way they are great songs and YES...both similar but not the same

WTF! NOBODY BASHES KARL WOLF FOR THIS...
... even in the Coldplay/Satch case... (love Satriani though)
... you can't copyright chords, rhythms or non-melody. even then it gets shady.
