Waste Management

so i got here all excited to get my first bit of footage of the new autocar McNeilus curotto and the driver immediatly says no. I "need to call the head office and ask for permission to film" (technically I dont since its a public service) But I stayed to watch that day (I wasnt filming) but the driver still called me in and a route manager came out and hunted me down. He had to do a report on me and all that. Asking me if i worked for another company or if i was digging up dirt on WM for some stupid reason. Later on I tried to convince him I was actually a YouTuber and enthusiest of all things in the refuse industry. He still didnt believe me for a long while. In the end i think he (more or less) believed me and gave me his buisness card and I gave him my phone number. He said his boss would call me when he gets a chance to say yes or no to filming. So his boss ended up calling me later on. Unfortunatly he didnt call me until 4:30 so everything was just finnished.

yeah, because WM films their employees & uses the video to fire drivers.. you don't realize that if a supervisor saw 1 of these vids & the truck number the driver could loose his job for breaking 1 of the 1million rules

@monko1265 tough shit dude. Im not going to stop my hobby because a driver is doing something wrong. And btw, I do realize that and I cut out clips where obvious faults are made.I have been around this industry long enough to know WM is safety INSANE. And I do know about WMs "spy" filmers. 9 of 10 drivers are perfectly fine with us filming. I only got upset they didnt let me film here because I rode just around 20 miles one way on a bike to see these trucks. I wasn't about to leave with nothing.

WM Inland Empire has an Autocar ACX Elliptical somewhere. I know its there Monday route somewhere. Looks real nice. I saw it being towed on the freeway.

WM Baldwin Park has the regular Xpeditor ellipticals around for ASL and FL. THere's an ACX Curotto in Arcadia that goes by my house.
