This was recorded live at the Nico Opera House in Capetown on 12th November 1998. Jonathan Plowright played it as an encore, following his performance of Brahms First Piano Concerto in D Minor with the Capetown Symphony Orchestra under Victor Yampolsky.
Few musicians have ever shown as much versatility in their creative output as American composer, performer, conductor and radio personality Morton Gould (1913-1996).
