thats so shit, every computer needs to have tc, why cant there be a nice simple program that you install and it puts a password over the pendrive that you have to enter on every computer you use it on

So you have to have Truecrypt on every machine you plug the drive into to mount it?

Hi Notta3d,
Yes, trueCrypt needs files to access the USB drive. But it is not
necessary to install TrueCrypt on every system. You can place the
executable files on your hard drive. It's also possible to format the
USB drive in two partitions. And put the TrueCrypt files on the first
FAT formatted partition.
