http://vault.ncaa.com/ Michigan's Fab Five earned another shot at the National Title in 1993. In one of the most bizzarre endings in tournament history, Michigan's Chris Webber called a timeout with 20 seconds remaining with the intention of setting up a potential game-winner against North Carolina. It backfired, however, when he learned that his team had zero timeouts remaining. Tournament MVP Donald Williams sank free throws to seal the win.

  • @guam2oregon

ESPN Fabricated Five made me LOL. Never won a Big 10 title or an NCAA title. Want to see a team that REALLY changed the game? Try 90 and 91 UNLV. They were Michigan before Michigan...not to mention they actually won something.

  • @tydigga because the ref was wondering if Webber will make something more stupid thatn that walk

  • jackson @ 59 secs clearly is not shooting a 3

  • @Lorenshyne Brian Reese

  • number 5 at 0:56 , lol

  • This North Carolina team may not have had high lottery picks/future NBA All-Stars like previous or future teams, but they were dominant. They were a 1 seed, finished 34-4(14-2 in the ACC) and a couple of these players were starters on North Carolina's 1991 Final 4 team. Several of these UNC players(Eric Montross, Derrick Phelps, Brian Reese, George Lynch) were McDonald All-American/5-star players coming out of high school players just like the Fab 5

  • One of the least talented UNC teams in my opinion so this was a huge mental run. They were really together. They had to-to guy George Lynch, Montrol, Donald Williams, Phelps and who else?

  • @ilcactusdigomma : In addition to that, UNC only had 4 team fouls, so they had a couple to give before putting Michigan on the line. Michigan was certainly the more talented team. I really believe they fell victim to experience once again. Carolina was the more experienced team and was the fresher team down the stretch. A steal, an errant shot, a 3 pointer airball - three big plays down the stretch that hurt Michigan . . . and the inability to stop Donald Williams!

  • number 5 is my uncle henrik rodl!!

  • @granitehills2t donald williams, derrick phelps, brian reese, Kevin Salvadori
