A TV Commercial advertising WALLS SKY RAY ice lolly. Features Dr Who & The Daleks. a set of 36 cards given away in 1967 with Walls 'Sky Ray' ice lollys. The cards featured a somewhat long-haired doctor based on Patrick Troughton joining forces with the 'Sky Ray Space Raiders' to battle the Daleks. The cards were collected in an album, Dr Who's Space Adventure Book, which also included games and other features

  • @RocketeerRaccoon I think it was originally supposed to add mystery to the character. "Doctor...who?"

    Of course, now he's just "The Doctor, the Oncoming Storm, Destroyer of Worlds, and Wearer of Bow-Ties and Fezzes".

  • @hotelmario510 I've always found it funny that the show is called Doctor Who even though that's not the actual title of the character.

  • I thought they used to be called 'Zoom' ice lollies. Maybe that was the Lyon's Maid version versus the Walls'.
