Ya got me with this one. Teary eyes. 1st on YT.
I used to watch this like clockwork every sat. morn on ABC. I still know the theme song Stubby Kaye used to sing. It was in the back of my memory for many years & then Roger Rabbit came out. Saw Stubby as Marvin Acme & the song was the 1st thing to enter my head. I envied all those kids who won. This show gave so much away to just one contendent. After this show, the kids science show "Discovery" would come on. That show was cool too!

I understand that Mara, after several failed marriages, died of a Darvocette overdose. Though her parents begged, The Beatles did not attend services.

Loved the show (especially the slow moving "Pie In The Eye) and the board game. Bought a pretty nice copy of the game in Wisconsin at a charity shop recently. It's still COOL!

The format of the original WPIX TV Ch.11 NYC version
of Shenanigans was different from The ABC TV edition. Kids were picked from the audience and they had
to solve riddles and mysteries posed to them by
Mr.Quiqley the detective.

Actually? Shenanigans was first seen locally weeknights on
WPIX TV Ch.11 in NYC in the early 1950's. Bob Quigley..then an unknown tv comedy writer and
actor hosted the show.
