This is a video about a group of students from the University of Wisconsin, River Falls who went to Gulf Port, Mississippi to help with Hurricane Katrina Relief. Edited and shot by me, Ryan Griffin, with photos by Ryan Stridde and me.

  • Good work, nicely edited video. Hope it was an eye opener to you about other cultures, and the hardship people on the gulf coast are dealing with. Makes it hard to complain about a bad day. Didn't like the complaining about the food though, it was free, and it was hot. I'm an EMT, worked down at the Convention center 3 days after the storm, living on bottled water, MREs, sleeping in an ambulance. I'd do it again in a heartbeat, but I think some fresh hot grits woulda tasted like ice cream.
