This is one of the sickest clips I have seen in my life, check out how when he finishes his bottom turn and starts to go up the rocher on his board straightens out and when he lands on the roof his board flexes or bends straighter. Sick!

i surfed for years and never caught air like that..i grew up surfing in the curren, potter, occy era...but i've flipped my tail many times...i think the most critical part of catching air is the set up...your weight distribution setting up right before you hit the lip. i see too many guys doing this and they fall backwards, trying to throw their board...it's about speed but more importantly your balance and weight distribution right before hitting the lip..idk..just my take

Dane Reynolds is the classic example of natural ability and I personally think he's due for a world title. The only way I could boost like that is with some OG Kush and a trampoline. Respect to all the surfers out there living the dream and experiencing life in ways anyone else could only imagine.

I'm also from Santa Cruz (west side!) and just wanted to give a shout out to Flea, congrats on staying off that nasty fucking meth. RIP Jay Moriarity, we all still miss you still. Nicest guy ever.
