The Big Lottery Fund recently awarded £1.89 million to the Media Trust for a three year UK project to develop connected news hubs to support citizen journalism.
At the Third Sector Social Media Convention I was able to talk to Gavin Sheppard, the Trust's director of marketing and communication services about the project.
