Bishop Seán Manchester took October Films to task over the narrator's defamatory remarks "self-proclaimed" and "obscure religious cult" in the Highgate Vampire section. Whoever wrote that part of the script obviously had not done any meaningful research. October Films immediately apologised in writing to Bishop Manchester. Hence subsequent transmissions and Discovery's DVD "True Horror: Vampires" omit these slurs. The video on YouTube is the original and unfortunately still contains the libel.
