my dad ran a new yorker good until he got nailed into the berm by an imperial full track shot..... he would have won censelation but carberator or starter failed

the bad thing about runnin an imperial people like to gang up on you!!! And at a muddy track like that i think its to heavy i rather have a 71-73 Chevy Impala that would be my choice

FirebirdCamaro is spot on. The Assassins radiator got pushed up into the motor. As to what caused the Imperial to loose, it was ticky tack officiating. Yes, Rhett did go 5 seconds over the 2 min hit rule, but to deny the crowd the final carnage over a violation so close was in my opinion pretty ridiculous. But hay, we won 12 hundred bucks and then took the imperial to Plains, the same venue as the 2007 Huge explosion vid. The 2008 vid is still in the works, hope to have it done this week.
