I have a question that why those Amerasians are not in the USA now when the US government had the ODP program before. I heard some Vietnamese kids had settled in the USA through the ODP program because those kids had Amerasians' documents such as birth certificates. How could those Vietnamese kids have Amerasians' documents ?

The Vietnamese Americans, Americans & VNmese around the world should focus on giving money to the Thuong Phe Binh VNCH (South Vietnamese Disabled Veterans) & My Lai (Amerasians in Vietnam) charities than others they r part of the old South Vietnamese. Not that we don't help the poor children & other problems in VN today, but we should not focus in those Children too much becuz they belong to the VC and it is the VC duty to care about them, let the VC do their job. I m 100% VNmese, not mix.

The guy who made this pleading video was so simple-minded. The reasons that those Vietnamese Amerasian spoke out to be going to United States were not convincing. They kept saying they wanted to join the "fatherland". Wake up. United States is a melting pot. There is no fatherland in the United States. The majority of former US soldiers who fathered those Vietnamese Amerasians didn't even want to unite their off-springs. Give a better reason. Good luck.

it is so unfortnate for all these children who are victims of the vietnam war. i wish them all the best in finding their parents/father and to definitely find a new life.
