Buy or find more info about the E-flite Blade mSR here: http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=EFLH3000

Yet again the E-flite development group has come up with another helicopter that you cannot be without. The new mSR is an ultra-micro helicopter, but it is a Single Rotor heli that brings a new level of performance to these very small helicopters. It is basically the same size as the common mCX heli, but the new mSR is very different in every other aspect especially t in terms of flight performance. The mSR will provide an excellent stepping stone to full high-performance helicopters for people graduating from a co-axial dual rotor heli. Most people with some mCX or CX2/3 experience will be able fly the mSR and develop their indoor flying skills to a much higher degree. The new level of performance is going to surprise you in a big way. A single rotor with a true powered tail rotor results in flight performance on a level with larger helicopters. E-flite has also been able to expand the capacity of the single-cell
Li-Po to 120mAh, resulting in longer flights. This is one model many heli guys are going be flying every time they get a chance—and just about anywhere as well. It is all about having fun.

Ryan Witchey, E-flite helicopter category manager, has agreed to help us understand all the new features incorporated into the new mSR from E-flite. Watch our video and hear more about the new technology that is making these very small RC models practical.

  • I'm very disappointed Horizon decided to discontinue this model. It's my favorite fixed pitch micro.

  • @davsha72 The mSR X is the successor to the mSR. You should check it out.

  • Hey I'm comin off a cx2 and I was wondering if I could fly this

  • @gmaninthusa Would be a good progression for you. Another option would be the Blade 120SR.

  • how fast can it go?

  • @hamsterwing We've never thrown it on a radar gun so I don't have an exact speed. It's plenty zippy, I will tell you that.

  • how long can it fly on a 120mah battery?

  • @NickPech Hey you may wanna start with an MCX2 heli, this one is a bit more advanced. I'm not saying that you can't start with it but its a big learning curve...

  • This is pretty neat, good first fixed pitch heli?

  • That flies better than my Syma 006.

  • @NickPech blade mcx for sure is the best BEGINNER helicopter for starters.

  • I've never flown a heli, but I raced rc cars and trucks for years.

I want to know if you think this would be an option to consider for a first heli.
