  • @matt23091985 Yeah not the fairest contest of seen, the Patrol with its factory rear L.S.D diff and mud tyres, and i bet the Range Rover still has the factory open diffs front and rear on all terrains? ask yourself.

  • @sarzamineiran Bullshit to Toyota never breaks, i work on em for a living and we've had to retrieve plenty of broken Toyota's, land rovers, and even the odd patrol-but not many of those.

  • @discocreator76 Land Rovers don't even make it to those 3rd world country's: They break down before that, just like every english made car. Especialy the 70's and 80's english cars. I'm sorry but that's just how it is.

  • @sarzamineiran Your obviously a die hard toyota person... well thats your loss ...... ha ha ha ha ha what a boring world it would be if we all liked the same vehicles thats all i can say.

  • @matt23091985

    Let me make it simple....

Land Rover if you want to get there

Toyota if you want to get there AND if you want to get back.

But Land Rover owners have the "spirit"...Toyota owners are cold and almost heartless

  • Range Rover Setting the standard since 1972 ...... more to the point... a quote from 4x4 monthly regarding the Disco 4 3.0ltr v6 diesel. if the Japs thought they had caught up with Land Rover. They had better think again.

  • Put That Patrol up against my Range Rover and see the outcome. 33 inch Simex mt's Make it a bit fairer shall we.....

  • @sarzamineiran Well i must own the only 3 L rovers that dont break often only major issues i have had is blown a couple diffs in the v8 Rangie due to poor quality oil use penrite fully syn now and dont have an issue. Havent chewed cv joints (75 series cruiser) havent dropped 5th gear ( same vehicle) and at least my 95 diesel Discovery can go up hill. without holding up the world and blowing a truck load of smoke. Dont know of many Diesel Jap Vehicles the same era able to do the same or keep up

  • @maradonasssssss Brisbane Australia as i said i have worked in the spare parts industry and do have a fair idea .... go on these costs i just serviced my 95 Diesel Discovery prices as follows 1 x Sakura Oil Filter Z89a Cost $8.50 (if i really wanted to go on the cheap here i could have used a z9 ) Sakura Air Filter $19.80 Z533 Sakura Fuel Filter / Water Seperator $16.35 6.5 Litres of Agip Super turbo Diesel ( Bought a 20 litre drum from Multi Spares for $81.18 Incl Gst good for 3 oil changes)

  • @matt23091985

Land Rover - breaks often, but cheap parts

Toyota - never breaks, parts expensive
