@Himynameis702 I can actually answer this one but it's SPOILERS. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! Gin and Rangiku were actually really good friends and he actually loves her. (I'm not sure about this part) Supposedly they fight and then he couldn't kill her and he tells her he loves her before he dies...something like that. That's why. (I'm not an expert and haven't read the manga thats just what I've been told about the story by someone who did read it)
