it has various 'occult' luciferian symbolism throughout this move,if somone knew wat they were looking at it would make more sence. im not talking about a witchcraft book you buy at Borders, read for a week and think u can fly or do cheap tricks lol XD

wikipedia is stating at Willem Dafoe that "The voice of the talking fox was also supplied by Dafoe, although the recording was heavily manipulated."

I felt like laughing when I saw this, but then I felt like i would be sorry later if I laughed. Like this scene was was Von Trier's way of saying "Laugh motherfucker. I dare you. Laugh while your pants are still clean"

@HELLOPEOPLEPEOPLEHI How can a director make a film he can't even understand? If that is the case then how the hell do you make the film to begin with? How do you explain to your actors what the hell is going on?

I think the movie works best because I don't understand what's going on, and that sort of adds to the disturbing nature of the movie. If I knew why all of these thigns were happening then that would take away the confusion, and if you take away the confusion you could lose a huge chunk of the disturbing....-ness.

However, because the film is so ambiguous in what is going on, it's only fair that someone can take the film as whatever they like, and people can easily take the fox as comedy.

He can have a tone in mind, and throw things in there that add to the tone. A fox eating itself may not make much sense, but if you want your movie to be disturbing, that's one thing you could very easily use in a disturbing manner.
