If anything, kids have a greater chance of getting hurt or killed by kids bringing guns to school. recently, in my local area, a kid had a gun in his backpack that went off. Luckily, no innocent person was killed. What the hell type of discipline is that kid getting from the parents.

@connerjd Right, because smacking a small, defenseless child around requires so much courage. Alright, well how about the simple fact that corporal punishment just doesn't work? I mean, just look at yourself. You're in favor of it so that tells me you yourself were spanked as a child, so why are you such a poorly behaved prick today? And before you take any shots at me, I was spanked too, so any insults you make up against me will only be self-defeating.

@rara1800 I know and i wish i could be a teen again in a Paddling school SO i could go around and smash these paddles. And i would.
I have no problem with mom or dad giving junior a swat to get away from the road or hot stove BUT dont hit my child with a 2ft or 3ft board. UNREAL

@rara1800 thats the problem though rara, alot of parents can say no to their child be paddled YET in some US schools, they can still legally beat your child. With or without permission. Crazy eh?
