found this group by chance. Are they Fil-ams? do they still exist? Where are they based now? Any CDs?

Wolfgang is a Pinoy band. Yes, they still exist but currently they are not that active and have no drummer. Manuel the guitarist is in the Philippines and is playing for Razorback, Mon the bassist is playing in Hongkong and Basti the vocalist is in the US. Wolf the former drummer is in the US and is playing for Fil-Am band Lokomotiv. They have 5 studio, but only the 1st and 2-CD special are available. The titles: Wolfgang, Semenelin, Serve in Silence,Wurm and Black Mantra.

Alecksky, Thanks for that very informative update! Appreciate it very much. So I noticed that some faces are at one point with the band Razorback. They sing cover songs for the other vice-versa. I got confused there I must say. Who are the best bands in PI now?

Hi! Razorback and Wolfgang are "brother bands" :) They held a joint reunion gig at the Music Museum last year. Manuel the guitarist is currently with Razorback and yep, Razorback does covers of Wolfgang and vice-versa.

I don't wanna spell out the best bands yet, coz I am still in the process of immersing myself in the PI gig scene. But I can say that the bands I feature here in my channel are some of the best bands in the country.
