@MayzeSigSzalay Rolo couldn't have been "manipulated" because for most of the time in question when Rolo was with Lelouch, Lelouch had lost his memory and had no idea of his previous life. It was during that time when Rolo began caring for Lelouch, and Lelouch only started hating Rolo after he got his memory back. In the end, Lelouch acknowledged that Rolo loved him as a true brother.

@9ssgoku Nah Lelouch employed a fair amount of manipulation on Rolo. He acted all friendly and brotherly, making rolo trust him. but lelouch actually hated him.
