thats bad ass, i have a question, at about 35 seconds, the 2nd gun man's gun gets covered when the camera moves, ithe colum gets in fron, how did you get the colum to cover the muzzle flash too?

Looney, that's a good question. I used Adobe after effects to do these effects. I duplicated the original footage and then applied an additive mask to the top layer. I then animated that mask to only follow the pole. I had the muzzle flash on the middle layer, above the original footage and under the duplicate. Does that make sense.
