Cowes Week Fireworks 2010

Taken about the Ocean Scene Blue Funnel Pleasure cruise boat. It was the WAVE 105 Cowes week Firework cruise. The sea was a bit choppy and the boat was having to keep its engines revving to maintain position which you can hear in the background.

The fireworks were launched from a barge kept in position by two tugs. We were about 100 yards away.

This is only the first minute or so, they did last much longer than this.

There were hundreds of boats large and small all floating and jostling for the best positions. One comes quite close in the video, you can just see the mast in silhouette.
