Palm Pre - Pali Research

The CTIA convention in Las Vegas was a little depressing this year based on the overall lack of attendance and minimal buzz about 4G technologies but on the bright side it was easy to get a taxi and a dinner reservation. The Palm Pre clearly attracted the most interest as investors in attendance tried to get a sense of timing and price. The Pres Q2 launch appears to be on schedule although which half of the quarter it will be released is not clear. We also believe the $299 pricing recently cited by a tech blog is likely too high.
