my love for these two will never fade i think.. and it's almost been a whole month that i vidded them.
gossip girl is currently upsetting me alot.. i just want my dair. not chair/derena 5.0 .. but i'm so looking forward to 5x10 ( "Dan (Penn Badgley) decides it may be time to tell Blair (Leighton Meester) the truth about his feelings for her." + written by Amanda Lasher [3x02,2x08,4x19,5x03 aka awesome dair episodes]) but im quiet sure he wont go through with it. i have no idea what they're planning to do with dair but i think its going to be exciting.

now 5x08 .. duck was awesome, i never thought i would like their friendship, but they surprised me and i think dan is good to basically everyone, even chuck can be a better man with him. and drunk!dan was probably the funniest thing i've ever seen. and the most adorable. And yes, (as the delusional and optimistic dair fan i can be) i believe blair came looking for dan at the end of the episode, because she may be a pathetic fool the last couple of episodes, but she cares. the way she looks at sleepy (adorable) dan and says 'i had to come' ...

I've always wanted to vid this song, ever since i vidded dair in a collab, i knew i had to do a whole video to that song. it's beautiful and suits those two amazingly.

as well, this is my entry for the Ultimate OTP contest!
The reason i love Dair, well it seems stupid but they seem painfully normal. Especially in the beginning, like two people who never liked, but learned to accept each other and eventually developed certain feelings for each other. They're good to each other and good WITH each other. Dan is exactly what Blair needs, she needs someone who can love her unconditionally and who would do anything to see her happy. He is whatever she needs him to be, he is her rock. And he needs her too, to follow her lead. They always agreed to disagree and always saw each other as the complete opposite. but in fact they're very similar, they're both extremely intelligent, they share the love for art, culture and movies. if blair would overcome her insecurities and stop seing dan as 'some boy from brooklyn', they could, no WOULD work. If she would open her eyes she could see he is her perfect match.
I always thought they would be great friends since i saw their hallway-scene (1x04) for the first time. i thought there could be something, but during season 1 and 2 there were only a few dair scenes and i thought they would never go that way. the particular moment i started shipping them in a romantic way was 3x18 when blair asked dan 'i mean, who else could love me after what i've become'. and ever since .. i'm hooked.
