Chretien was NOT loved or respected by ANYONE worthy of love or respect here in Canada NOR was he loved or respected by the international community.
If you can support Chretien or name anything positive he did for Canada, then you're either a partisan hack, too young to have lived though his tyranny, or just completely fucking ignorant.
