Ex NY Rep. Sweeney & wife to court on counter dv-allegations

Former Rep. John Sweeney was in court Monday dealing with issues involving a divorce from his second wife.

The battling Sweeney's first became an issue just days before last November's election when reports surfaced that police had been called to deal with domestic violence. At the time both John and Gayle Sweeney denied the fighting. But now each party is accusing the other of physical abuse.
