A agree with fewbew6, The Perks of Being a Wallflower is pretty much impossible to capture on film. The book was so moving, it made me think so differently.

I think people glorify the book way too much. I wouldn't exactly call it a classic, not to say it was bad, but it wasn't as good as the Authors TPOBAWF intended to shadow.

He was an introvert. I'm an introvert, too, which made the book easy to relate to. You're exactly right, he wasn't "emo" whatsoever. Just an introvert in touch with his feelings.
