@mnljh711986 Loved ur comment. I'm a proud Gen-Xer, and I miss life before the internet, cellphones, Fox News/MSNBC, terror threat levels, airport patdowns, school shootings, home invasions. Life wasn't perfect then, but it was still a simpler time. Pop music was so diverse--no auto-tune, pro-tools or the same generic club beats. And people weren't so defined by technology (Farcebook/incessant texting), slutty fashion (rap videos, Kardouchian), and money (McMansions, SUVs) like they are today.

Once at a concert in Wichita I jumped up on stage to dance with Rick (along with several other girls). He was singing this song & looking right at me. I looked him straight in the face & mouthed the words "I love you!" He turned away & shook his head. I think I made him smile! Maybe even blush? Awesome!

he has quit for sometime now..big in AA and his depression was mainly issues over his father's death....
