You own NO property when you live under a government, you just rent from them.

The Park Service, U.S. Fish & Wildlife, Audobon, Defenders of Wildlife, & SELC are manipulating the judicial system. This is rural gentrification. They want to privatize Cape Hatteras. The Bonner Bridge, Regulations on Red Drum, & the "Consent Decree" are strategic moves to close Hatteras down to the public. Carol is right when she says the government can do this to anyone. This can happen anywhere w/out input from the public. Going "green" doesn't mean we have to shut everything down.

Pass it along people,
As Mrs. Dillon says, these people need help, and they need ti now before it is too late.

Good Luck Mrs. Dillon, as any who have worked for state or federal agencies have experienced managers lack of knowledge to mandate or state policies which are not factual. Unfortunately they have the resources to say and do what they want.
-
Thank you soooooooo much for speaking out Ms. Dillon!!!!

Until members of the Congress and State officials get off of their backsides and do something you can only expect more of the same. Ask the Native Americans. I am a native of Hatteras Island and am totally aware of the impact this will have on folks still living there. It is pathetic to say the least.

Control your animals. Dogs and cats are not native to that island system.

post a add in the news paper telling everyone you want people to get together and walk the beach ring the news paper and tell them to come get the people behind you....
-
they won't let us walk either. the beaches are closed to everyone
-
the earth is all of ours...take no notice walk the beach with hundreds of your friends call the newspaper when you do it .....take the power back
-
there's places you can't walk either!!so forget walking...wings rate on this beach...that's all.
The issue isn't abot developement. It's about people using a public Beach. It's a RECREATIONAL area not a wild life refuge. As a recreational area no homes, condos or anything else can be built there anyway. The Park Sevice won't even let people walk there fish or even BE on the beach.
