Pretty fail play by poongko here. And no this isn't a casual he was invited to play in a TOURNAMENT. No way in hell he didn't try his best, he just jumped and rushed too much for his own good in this match.

Bunch of girls arguing below, do they actually realise its a causal??? Like Poongko really tried?? For those who thinks Poongko only knows how to rush are pretty stupid, it depends who the opponent is and characters match up etc. Just on the other matches in this same event Poongko literally turtled all the way to beat Itabashi. This rattoh has no brain saying he is garbage, he IS a SF4 tourney player and yet the national winner of Korea. Not you rattoh, not you, you are the garbage yourself.

I agree with rattoh. I do like Poongko for his amazing combos, but he's pretty reckless at times. While he dishes out plenty of damage to his opponents, he also receives them when they either could've been reduced or avoided all together by playing more defensive with more patience. I believe if this Balrog player was to go up against John Choi's, Alex Valle's, Fuudo's, Daigo's, or Dan's Ryu, then the match would be very different from beginning to end.

I understand his flawed gameplay clearly and I understand SF4 & SF in general enough to know for a fact Poongko is garbage. His footsies are garbage, his zoning with fireball is average, his gameplan is garbage (rushing 24/7 is not smart agaisnt rog AT ALL), all he has is combo execution because he was a KOF player.

1) He has extreme knowledge of the game

2) He has amazing yomi/prediction of the opponent

3) His offense is very random but he is very self aware of his actions

You don't even understand his gameplay.

Actually you don't understand SF4 or SF in general. Poongko is a combo master and that is all. He has no outstanding fundamentals that make you a great SF player.

Rushing down 24/7 and FA all day = YOU LOSE IN SF4. Way too fucking risky.
