I wanted to share a video with several "Potential Buyers" of this 1998 Ducati 748 with Pistal 853cc big bore kit. This video was made to prove that this motorcycle shifts through all of the gears fine and that there is no failure in performance. This is not a "Dyno Run", only a quick test to show the motorcycles visual and audio performance. You will notice that when the tire "squeals/spins" on the Dyno drum, that this is from hard acceleration in first gear. I very quickly shift into 2nd and the tire continues to spin, even at low RPM. Continuing into 3rd gear, the tire continues to spin briefly. This is not from a cold/worn out tire, aggressive down shifting, using the motorcycles rear brake, using the Dyno brake or having an over geared final drive ratio. You can also hear the smooth action of the slipper clutch at work as well. This is a performance engine, as well as a beautiful motorcyle. Truly, Ducati Performance.

  • Inverted gearbox?

  • wow this bikes a beast

  • The shifting up on some of these videos is diabolical, including this one. Why use the clutch for knocking it up when your hard on the gas, there is actually no need.

  • sports bike had a epic sound....im just newly in bikes..is the bike sounds goes in speaker or in a muffler?sorry for my bad english....
