I'm a Southern man and I would have to say ignore the ignorant folk here who think being a racist is part of southern pride. Southern pride is taught by good family men who teach that a Southern man should embody integrity, character, chivalry, hospitality and humility. If you do that, regardless of color or geographical location, a Southern man will respect you.
