step 1. breath through your nose with your cheeks puffed
2. learn to blow out of your mouth with your cheeks puffed out.
3 please build an endurance in your instrument, preferably 2 hours of playing before hurting your lips. play, rest, play, rest, play, rest in 2 hour intervals
4. blow bubbles in a cup of water with cheeks puffed
5.close of your air supply with the back of your tongue, and blow using only the air stored in your puffed cheeks
6.very quickly inhale through your nose during step 5
7.switch air supply quickly and continue exhaling with lung air
8.steps 5 through 7 should be in one fluent motion, or perpetual motion, do all this for a lot of time at a time for practice
9.switch to your instrument
10.follow same breathing procedure
11.mask the "bump" between air switches with finger changes
12. give yourself 20 years and you will have masked circular breathing!

  • How do you "close off your airway?" I'm struggling with that! Would love to have your help. When I try to circular breathe I end up doing it from my lungs and even when trying to do it feel my tummy goin inwards until I need to breathe from my mouth, any advice?

  • @DidgeridooLearner when you breath in your nose, your mouth airway is closed automatically. Also, you breath through your nose not your maouth. you follow the steps in the description to see what i mean. it is easy if you understand the steps first

hope that helps, also, if you subscribe, that'd be nice :D
