@caperocker1 the sampling rate is lower but presonus mic preamps are usually better quality than many other consoles. I have worked with some of the boards in the studio live series and they do sound better than even some consoles that cost much much more. The sampling rate is not a huge problem because most people would use 44.1 or 48khz. Higher than that you would normally see in professional recording studios for example 96khz sampling rate.

Fairly decent demonstration. I am about to use this mixer at a church. i have already listened and mildly operated, but this has helped a lot. I will utilize Capture. Do I have to manually set the disk record allocation (time and destination)?

This would be a great mixer if it actually worked reliably. Read the presonus forums very carefully. You will find that there are MANY users who are on their second or third board from presonus OR they have had to send it to the factory for repair. Save yourself the trouble. It is an attractive and nice sounding board, but the system is far from stable. Consider yourself warned.

Does this mixer control the internal mixer of Logic Express without ever touching the computer? Do I need to set the "learn" parameters everytime I create e new project?

@ItalyLC You are completly wrong and offering information that clearly shows you hav enever usd the product. This unit operates with most popular softwares out there including Protools, Sonar, Cubase, ect.ect.ect.

The sampling rate on the converters are 44.1 and 48. Other mixers in this price range are higher sampling rates. How much of an issue is this for someone considering the purchase of this mixer? Anyone who has had the mixer awhile have any input on this? Or would Presonus care to respond ? Thanks.
