I've only used it with my PC. When I do publish actioncam footage for my show, I'll try using flip4mac to convert from wmv

You should try Sony tx10 it takes the best picture quality available. Full hd video and it is waterproof dust proof shock proof and freeze proof with out been very stylish and it is not 1000 usd as you say. It is only 329 and you get the best of toughness style technology and quality in one camera.

im very confused....do u absolutely need an sd card to record footage or does it have storage? and what would the usb port be used for?

Anyone know how the Chilli Technologies Action Cam compares in terms of quality footage / sound? Been looking for a review but don't seem to find any. It is not waterproof but is smaller, lighter, has a lazer sight, and bit cheaper...
