  • so what compression are you running? and with what heads? Do you know?

  • @TheFallguy11 9.5 to 1, this was when I had stock heads, it has patriot aluminum heads now

  • Sounds really good! Can you give me the specs on the cam? What gear ratio in the rear and what is your stall on your torq converter. This is the cam/sound I want for my 67 El camino. Thanks.

  • @305madmax

The specs can be found on comp's website, it's the small thumpr. I had 2.73s with an open diff when this video was filmed but just now put in a eaton posi, new axles, and 3.55. It has a 3000 stall converter.

  • Did you put in the cd player? If so where did you get the holder to mount it under the original radio??

  • @gnarlatron3000

No, circuit city did it waaaay back when my dad first bought the car and before I was ever driving it. May want to check ebay.

  • Awesome looking/sounding car.Poor camera work though.LOL.

  • 20,000? What the....

I could buy a crate BBC and put twin turbo with fuel injection, beefed up tanny and diff for <20k. All you need is 5k to get you 500hp. Thats enough to beat a 2010 Porshe, Corvette and that Cobra! 496cid!!

  • If you want to increase the chances of getting your hand chopped off. It also keeps the air flow a lot smoother while its on. and for most, you have to take the fan out to pull the fan shroud (plastic piece you want to remove) out. This goes for all cars.

  • you arent adding more horse power to you car by switching to electric, it just uses less horsepower to cool the engine. And from personal experience belt driven fans suck to replace because you have to align 3 little holes through the fan clutch, the mount and the connection piece. it took me and a friend a good 10 minutes just to get the first bolt in after putting an Allen wrench through them. So aggravating.
