  • What kind of motor are you using for the idler motor and what leads are you using. Thanks.

  • @homesteadprepper not exactly sure what kind of motor but it can be any kind and the lead are just lines 1,2,3 from the motor

  • You dont need the idler motor for this to work. the more motors that are paralled in, the cleaner and more efficent 3 phase you get. I dont think the idler motor generates a 3rd phase. its a bit more complicated than that. anyhow a relay to kick out your start capaciter once running would improve the power factor.
