People make fun of TT & have no respect for Christians because 1.they pray for stupid stuff like winning a football game and even worse 2.believe God actually answers these prayers. If I asked a "Christian" what do you pray for and he answered, "for the Broncos to win the super bowl" of course I would think religion is a joke. Jesus himself gave us a model to use when praying to God: Matt. 6:9-13 and nowhere does it include the Broncos or any other team or nation for that matter (Acts 10:34, 35)

1 more thing... if you want to disprove God exists for yourself... kneel down for 1 week, and hole heartedly pray to Him. I mean Jesus Christ. You can't tell me otherwise. There was a circumstance under which my mom was almost killed on a deserted road 17 years ago. No cars in sight, no houses for at least a mile. My sister and I got down on our knees and prayed! Not 5 minutes later the police arrived, and rescued us. God hears your cry. Faith like a child. Unwavering, not tainted by the world.

Could it be? Only a fool would believe that God will return. Why recognize Easter? Or Christmas? You can't say Christmas w/o Christ.
